It's useful to have comments about our pictures to better remember events or to describe the images. A convenient way to accomplish this is to add the comments in the visible part of the pictures, so if the pics are displayed on the computer or in a paper photo-album, the text will always be visible.
We don't think we've encountered many programs that are more versatile and intuitive than BatchPhoto.
Almost all photo editors have the option to annotate pictures with text, by selecting the text tool, typing the text, adjusting the text placement, font, color, and then saving the image. However, the process has to be repeated for every single photo even if we have dozens.
Instead we could use a purposely built tool to add text to pictures in batch mode, that is for all the photos at once. BatchPhoto is such a tool, it enables you to annotate dozens of pictures in one session. With BatchPhoto you can easily add multi-line comments, select the placement, font, color, and even adjust the transparency of the text so it can blend artistically into the image!
BatchPhoto has many more graphical filters that can be added to your photos in the same session: text & image watermarks, date & time stamps, and even special effects. Transformations like: resizing, rotating, and renaming can be performed at the same time as well.

It is a really fast way for me to watermark and resize images to web ready from the files I need for printing. The ability to just put them in a folder and do them all at once and have them in the same folder makes picture management easier. Once again it is the speed.
Edit images in batch mode by following a three step wizard!
