The Resize filter adjusts the photo's size in pixels (or MP / Megapixels).
The canvas dimensions (width and height) of your photos can be reduced by using this filter, which will result in smaller file sizes for your photos which in turn can be useful for sharing.
•Dimensions can be specified in either Pixels or Percentages by selecting the appropriate option from the combo-box. Where pixels represent a fixed dimension but percentages are relative to the original photo's size.
•Resize by: Width & Height lets you specify both the Width and the Height for the processed photos, no matter the original dimensions of the source photos. The aspect ratio will be taken into account by default but can be ignored.
•Resize by: Fixed Width enables you to set a fixed value as the width of the resulting photos. The width will be the same for all the processed photos but the height may vary in accordance to the aspect ratio. The aspect ratio has to be taken into account for this option.
•Resize by: Fixed Height, enables you to set a fixed value as the height of the resulting photos. The height will be the same for all the processed photos but the width may vary in accordance to the aspect ratio. The aspect ratio has to be taken into account for this option as well.
•Resize by: Fixed Width & Height. Resize all the photos to fit a rectangle of a fixed Width and a fixed Height by taking into account the aspect ratio of the original images.
