Changing to Square

I'm trying to take images and crop them to square.
Some are portrait, some are landscape.
I need to add white to fill in the missing space and make sure they all come out square.

Then I'll resize to a max pixel size but that part looks easy.

How can I do this?

Thank you for using BatchPhoto.

With the Auto Crop graphical filter you can crop a square from the middle of your portrait and landscape photos automatically. Unfortunately adding a white border to fill in a square is not possible with the current version of BatchPhoto.

We will consider adding this feature in a future version.
