ADD... Folder with Subfolders... Doesn't

The ADD... Folder with Subfolders... Doesn't. It used to until the last couple of days. I have shut it down restarted. I have rebooted. Nothing works. Suggestions?

The Add Folder with Subfolders option woks in my tests on macOS 13 and Windows 10. What operating system do you have?
Please create a test folder (Test) under your Pictures folder where you can add a subfolder (Test1) and add a JPG image in it. Then try to use the option Add Folder with Subfolders on this folder and let me know if it works for you.
