BatchPhoto cannot just disappear from your computer. Either the program was intentionally uninstalled or Windows was reinstalled on the computer.

No, unfortunately you cannot change the extension text. You can try renaming your processed images in Windows(r) Explorer or you can just save as plain PNG.
