Resize filter's settings explained:

Type in the Width or Height edit-box the desired width or height for the output photos (the width and height can be specified either in pixels or percents), you can also use the small up and down arrows to adjust those values

You will notice that while adjusting one field the other will adjust itself in order to keep the original photo's aspect ratio (this is valid only if the Preserve original image's aspect ratio check-box is selected)

You don't have to worry about different photo sizes and orientations (portrait or landscape), BatchPhoto will take care to correctly resize the original photos

The default settings can be restored by pressing Reset button
