BatchPhoto as default editor in Mac

Hi there!
I would like to know if I can make BatchPhoto my default editor on my Mac? I just began taking photos in RAW to import and edit in BatchPhoto. When I upload from my camera it goes into Macs "Photos" automatically. Apparently "photos" does not recognize the RAW file and I cannot import to BatchPhoto. Any help would be appreciated, I am new at this. Thank you!
