Font size changes with camera resolution setting

I added a date to 106 photos in a computer folder. I chose a 16 size font. However, when the process was complete, the dates were three different sizes . The size of the date in each case depended on the resolution setting of the camera .
Photos taken at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels were very large, while photos taken with the camera set at 1600 x 1200 pixels had very small dates added to the photo. Is there a way to obtain a consistent font size regardless of the resolution setting of the camera ?

Hello,

This happens because the size of the font is the same in pixels while the size of the photos varies. Also when visualizing the pictures they are scaled to fit your screen size and the fixed font size is scaled accordingly. If you would zoom your photos to 100% you will see that the font size is actually constant.

To have a font size relative to your photos' dimension you can do the following:

1. Add a Resize filter so all your photos are resized to the same size, then add the annotate filter (date, comment or watermark) with a fixed font size for all photos

2. Group your photos in batched based on size, then set the appropriate font size for each batch

Please let me know if there is something else.
