Hi, I bought BatchPhoto as a quick alternative to going into Abode Photoshop, opening each photo, resizing to 6 by 4 and saving. Batchphoto allows me to resize, which is great, but does not compress and the photos are still too big to attach more than one to my hotmail account .... Anyway you can compress and save these as smaller files would be much appreciated ?

Hello,

Thank you for your order.

There are to methods for making your photos smaller:
1. Make photos smaller by resizing them (the Resize filter). Digital cameras take pictures in very high resolutions so you can lower those resolutions with the Resize filter (see www.batchphoto.com/howto/resize/picture-size.html)
2. Compress photos better by saving to JPG with a better compression (lower picture quality)

To better compress your photos go to Step 3, select Output Format > JPG (default), click on Settings. There you can adjust the Size/Quality slider as you see fit. A lower value will result in a smaller file size but with a lower picture quality.
