Re: Re-processing Images in Watch Folder after Crash

Hi,

Yes, changing the metadata will result in a new MD5 checksum and will be considered a modified image and so it will be reprocessed.

Re: Monitor Job Factors that Determine a New File

Hi,

The checksum log is maintained throughout the Job's life. However you can reset it by selecting in the Job's settings window "Reprocess all images using the new settings".

Re: Re-processing Images in Watch Folder after Crash

Hi, Thank you for your question. In the current version the communication is one-way, the Monitor scans the images and makes a MD5 checksum of each one, then sends a work order to BatchPhoto. Unfortunately the Monitor doesn't know if BatchPhoto crashes and doesn't process all images. This is somethi...

Re: Monitor Job Factors that Determine a New File

Hi, Thank you for using BatchPhoto. The Monitor component of BatchPhoto Enterprise records a MD5 checksum of each image it processed. If even a single bit of one of the images has changed the image will be detected as modified and reprocessed. If you remove and re-add an image that was already proce...

Re: Crashing TIFF to JPG conversion

Hi,

Thank you for the additional information.

> Although it does work for one or two batch conversions or large TIF files, I find that BatchPhoto starts getting glitchy if I start another batch conversion

Re: Crashing TIFF to JPG conversion

Hi, Thank you for using BatchPhoto. The first thing that you can try is to disable multicore processing but you've already done that. You can also try to disable the previews from within the app so that less memory is used by the interface. Unless you can send us a batch of TIFF files that cause the...

Re: Problem with Adding Watermarks

Hi Nicol,

Do you also have other filters besides the Watermark-Logo filter?

It seems that there is a problem with your PNG image since the default logo works for you. Can you send us your PNG image to support at batchphoto dot com to investigate?

Re: Problem with Adding Watermarks

Hi Nicol, Thank you for using BatchPhoto. When you add the Watermark-Logo filter in Step 2, there is a default logo that is displayed. Can you process your photos with the default logo? If so it means there is a problem with your logo, it's probably not loaded. Your logo needs to be a PNG image if y...
