Re: runtime error

Hello,

Can you please describe the circumstances that lead to this error... What type of images do you add in Step 1? What filters are you using in Step 2? Also what Windows version are you using?

Re: converting file to png

Hello, Does the original image has a transparent background (it will show-up in BatchPhoto's previews as a check-board)? If not you should edit the original image with a image editor (like http://www.getpaint.net/ ) to add the transparency and then use BatchPhoto. BatchPhoto is designed to apply a s...

Re: Bug Report

Hello,

The date is read from the image's EXIF info, it cannot be stripped when saving to JPG. However in the current version the EXIF data is not kept if saving to TIF, which may be the case for you. Is it?

Re: Resizing images and misc

If you want to crop to 4x6 inches you need to know the DPI of your pictures then crop a rectangle with width = 6 * DPI and height = 4 * dpi expressed in pixels. Adding the date is as simple as adding th...

Re: No support for non-English fonts - Exception!

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately in the current version there is no support for special fonts like the hebrew fonts. However this feature is on our to-do list and an improved version will be release in the near future.

Batch RAW Processing

As a professional photographer you shot in RAW hundreds of pictures at a single event but few shots are really good and worth the time investment required by post processing on the PC with a specialized software. Nevertheless the remaining pictures are still important and need to be converted to a c...

PDF Album with Photos

From version 2.5 of BatchPhoto we've introduced the ability to create PDF albums from multiple digital photos. The resulting PDF files are compressed (by default) with the JPEG algorihm so the resulting file is no larger in size than the original JPG images. All BatchPhoto's graphical filters can be...

Re: batch rename

So your "Creek" file was renamed as "2009-05-22 23-29Creek" by BatchPhoto. The last part of the name is the original filename becouse you haven't removed the "[Filename]" keyword. Maybe the long filename is truncated by Vista and you only see the last part of it "...Creek". This doesn't mean that Ba...
