Yes you are right, the Watermark-Text filter takes into account the center of the text bounding box so when the text is rotated it will be not placed exactly. You can compensate that by using the Delta X and Delta Y variables that will move the text into the desired direction.

We will take into account your suggestion for improving the positioning of rotate text.

The text tool, as powerful as it is, has severe limitations when placing text that is rotated, say 90 or 270 degrees.
The placement "middle-right", for example does not place the rotated text to the right border of the image, but since rotation is calculated not from the center, it's always shifted. This is really annoying :(

Would it be possible to get more fine control over this?
